EU in Tirol
Vom 27. Juni 2009 bis zum 4. Juli 2009 findet in Hall in Tirol das internationale Jugendcamp mit Schwerpunkt „Theaterarbeit“ statt, das unter dem Titel „Held/-in Tirol“ steht. Jugendliche aus 5 europäischen Ländern (England, Tschechien, Italien, Deutschland, Österreich) treffen sich bei diesem Theatercamp zu Workshops und theatralen Reflexionen zum Heldenthema.
Die Begegnung, die inhaltlich bei einem Spielleitertreffen im Herbst 2008 vorbereitet wurde, soll die Jugendlichen über das ihnen vertraute Medium Theater zu einem inhaltlichen Austausch führen. In ihren Herkunftsländern haben sich die Jugendlichen während des Arbeitsjahres 2008/2009 mit der Frage nach den Ursachen von Heldenverehrung beschäftigt. Sie kommen nach Hall mit einer dreiviertelstündigen Produktion und bieten diese den anderen Gruppen zur Diskussion und theatralischen Auseinandersetzung an. In der Folge kann das zu qualitativen Änderungen des ursprünglichen Stückes führen.
Zugleich mit dem Camp wird von den Veranstaltern im Rahmen des Großprojekts „Held/-in Tirol“ aus Anlass der 200-Jahr-Feiern der Tiroler Erhebungen im Jahr 1809 ein Jugendtheaterfestival organisiert, bei dem regionale und nationale Gruppen ihre Beiträge zum Heldenthema vorstellen werden. Diese zeitliche Überschneidung bietet einen entscheidenden Mehrwert für beide Teilprojekte: Die Teilnehmer am Camp sind eingeladen, in diesem Rahmen ihr Produkt einer großen Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen, während das europäische Projekt stärker ins Bewusstsein der Tiroler Öffentlichkeit rückt und das vorwiegend jugendliche Publikum in den Mitgliedern des Camps Europas Stimme hört.
EU in Tyrol
An international youth camp with emphasis on theatrical work will take place from June 27th to July 4th in Hall/Tyrol. The topic will be "Hero in Tyrol". Young people from five European nations (Great Britain, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and Austria) will meet in this camp for workshops and the exchange of their experiences with the theme of "heroism".
The camp was prepared in a meeting of group leaders in autumn 2008. It is meant to make youngsters exchange their ideas by developing plays and discussing the contents. In their home countries, the groups have been working throughout 2008/2009 on the issue of the origin of worshipping heroes. They come to Hall with their own theatrical production on the topic of heroism and they will present it and discuss it with the other groups.
Parallel to the camp, a youth theatre festival will be organised, as another part of the main project "Hero in Tyrol". It is also part of the festivities on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Tyrolean uprising in 1809. Regional and national groups will present their theatrical contributions on the subject. This will mean a great benefit for both projects: The participants of the camp are invited to display their work to a large audience; on the other hand, the European project will become manifest in the Tyrolean public; the mainly young audience is enabled to listen to the voice of Europe.
